While the gaming industry is buzzing about GTA 6, many Rockstar fans still wonder: what about Red Dead Redemption 3? Roger Clark, the actor who brought Arthur Morgan to life, recently addressed the subject.
RDR 3, an inevitable sequel?
Since the release of Red Dead Redemption 2, players have been hoping for another chapter in this western saga. Speaking on social media platform X, Roger Clark sounded optimistic:
“I’m sure there will be a Red Dead Redemption 3 someday. But I have no idea when it might be announced.”
This statement fuels speculation, even though Rockstar has yet to confirm anything officially.
Arthur Morgan returning? Unlikely
The actor also clarified that his iconic character, Arthur Morgan, is unlikely to appear in a possible third game:
“I believe Arthur’s story has already been told. Don’t expect him to come back.”
This goes against the hopes of some fans who imagined a prequel or flashbacks that could bring Arthur back into the spotlight.
What future for the franchise?
Rockstar could explore multiple directions: setting the story during the gold rush era, or following Jack Marston as he tries to survive in a more modern world. Nothing has been revealed so far, but the interest surrounding the series remains strong, and fan demand may eventually push the studio to develop a new installment.
